EMEA Cluster Close Down June 15, 2008

Due to infrastructure changes EMC Centera Engineering is announcing to the CAS Partner Community that we are relocating the test clusters in Mechlen BDG Lab to our lab in Westborough, MA, USA. We intend this switch over to take place on June 15, 2008.

We appreciate that a number of our partners utilise these Centera clusters in their QA testing schedule and we intend to make sure that the similar resources are available from our Westborough labs.

We hope we can minimise any disruption to our service on the switch over date.

Please consult the Centera Online Lab for details of IP address changes.

Centera SDK 3.2 now GA!

The Centera team is proud to announce that revision 3.2 of the Centera SDK is now available for download.

3.2 features our first release of 64-bit OS support for Windows and Linux, as well as a new Dynamic Logging API, Partial File Stream support for easier blob slicing and the usual collection of fixes and updates.

Partners should also note that we have changed the physical layout of the SDK; the library set for 3.2 differs from the previous release and product installation scripts may need to be updated.

Partners who have already upgraded their codebase to be compatible with the previous 3.1 SDK series will be able to incorporate this release into their products immediately; partners new to the 3.1 SDK should be aware of some technical changes detailed in this presentation.
